Thermal Imaging
Thermal Imaging helps us find areas that might be wet, It also helps us find areas of possible mold growth. |
|
Thermal Imaging identifies areas of concern by directing thermal energy at an object and then measuring the reflection as the energy is returned towards the IR Camera. Saturated building materials appear either colder or hotter than their surrounding dry materials depending on the source of the water intrusion. When wet building materials are viewed through a Thermal Imaging camera, warm objects stand out well against cooler backgrounds and the reverse.
Our infrared or thermal imaging cameras are invaluable when used on water damage mitigation. Our IR cameras allow our Emergency Response Teams to quickly identify areas which need to be inspected further using our precise moisture meters. The thermal cameras do not tell us what is wet. They allow us to see areas that are hotter or colder than their surrounding areas depending on the source of the moisture. We always use moisture meters to confirm the presence of moisture in building materials in question.
Color Tech Restoration is committed to delivering the highest quality water damage remediation services in the industry. To this end, we use state-of-the-art technologies designed to provide our team and our customers with the most accurate, precise moisture readings available. |
