Heat Drying Systems Distributed by Thermal Energy Drying System

Heat provides the main source of energy to create evaporation. Adding air movement creates a synergistic effect which results in faster evaporation. Air exchange is a well known method for removing large quantities of moisture laden air fast and efficiently. We take an air-mover, connect lay flat ducting, vent the tube outside and remove moisture laden air much faster than you can remove the water from the air with a dehumidifier. A modest 2000 cfm heat drying system can exchange the air volume in a 2500sf building with 9’ ceilings once every 11 ¼ minutes. Air exchange is an integral part of most heat drying systems and air exchange can keep up with the fast evaporation rates heat drying produces.

 

Heat can dry structure without removing baseboard, tile cove base, cabinets, etc…

Heat penetrates deep into and through building materials drying areas that are not accessible. Intelligent venting, when necessary, requires little to no repair. Certain materials become irreversibly damaged when wet. Example: MDF or compressed paper baseboard. However, removing these damaged materials after drying, versus removal when wet, reduces the chance of unnecessary secondary damage. Dry it in place and reduce the chance for damage.

The Christmas Eve Flood of 2009

We Started This Flood Christmas Eve 2009. Resent Dryout in Winter Park CO Using the Trailer Mounted Heat Drying System. Walls, Ceiling and Contents Needed Dried. This House was About 7,000 sq ft with Garage at 9,110 ft in Elevation. The Hot Water Heat Went Out and a Water Line On the 3rd Floor Froze and Broke. There Was No Heat In the House for 2 Days So Our Heat Drying System Was Used To Heat the House for 2 Days. The Night We Started the Outside Temperature Was –15 Degrees Outside.

No major repairs were required to for years eve party. Up to 50% of the drywall would of had to be removed if we had not heat dried and this property and would have made this party impossible.

Using Heat Drying We Were Able to Dry the House Fast and Get the Owners Back In Their Home for Their Planed New Years Eve Party. Instead of Having to Stay Somewhere Else for New Year’s They Were Able to Wish the New Year In Their Home.
